It's breeding season at Eastleigh Farm and Woody the bull has been introduced to his lady friends in the field.
While Woody was on fifty first dates, we were inside cleaning the office. Back at the Home Farm on Grove Street, the spring calves are ready to wean. Up the hill at Eastleigh, Luke and Cole, our two steers, are spending time with a few retired cows, while they wait for a new home with an owner experienced with oxen that can put them to good work.
